25th Annual Kristallnacht Commemoration

Please join us for the 25th Kristallnacht Commemoration at the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ, on Monday, November 9th, from 7:30 - 9:15 p.m. in the Dolan Performance Hall in Annunciation Center at the College.

There is no charge for any programs.

For the November 9th Kristallnacht Commemoration, we have planned a very special program with interfaith prayer, testimony of Kristallnacht survivor Fred Heyman, the Ashrey Jewish Teen Choir, and internationally respected Holocaust historian Dr. Michael Berenbaum.  The program concludes with A Dessert Reception in Honor of the Survivors.   This year marks the 77th anniversary of Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass)

For the November 11th "Interfaith Dialogue After the Holocaust: 50th Anniversary of Nostra Aetate", Dr. Carol Ritttner will speak about the significance of the Vatican document and its impact.  Rabbi David Nesson will engage as dialogue partner following her remarks.  Opportunity for Q/A.  Dessert Reception to follow.

Throughout the week, there will be opportunities to sit in on classes to learn from survivor and Second Generation testimonies, film screenings, and faculty and student presentations.

We look forward to welcoming you.  Together, we will demonstrate that we won't forget.  Together, we can do our part to ensure "never again" to anyone....
