Live Panel: What are museums in Latin America doing for Human Rights?

This session provides close insight in to the work of FIHRM-Latin America (FIHRM-LA) and will look at how museums across Latin America work to address human rights in museums and provide examples of work from across the region. FIHRM-LA was launched in 2017 when the annual FIHRM conference was held at the International Democracy Museum in Rosario in Argentina and now has many members in 12 countries across the region. It is an international project aimed at strengthening the dialogue on democracy and Human Rights in Latin America and promoting knowledge of and respect for Human Rights by means of action in local museums.

The session will be delivered in English.
