With the website “Memorial Museums Portal on Places of Remembrance in Europe”, the Memorial Museum to the Murdered Jews of Europe Foundation provides an overview of memorial museums, historical learning sites, and monuments throughout Europe. In addition to general information, users will also find information on the history of the locations and on the commemoration of the victims of the Nazi crimes. The overview was developed in 2004/2005 in cooperation with the Topography of Terror Foundation.

The project “Memorial Museum Sites Europe” created by the German Resistance Study Group 1933-1945 e.V. lists memorial museums in France, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, and Poland. Other countries are to follow. The study group provides information about the locations, historical background information, maps and photographs, short biographies, and directions for the countries it covers. The project deals with German war and occupation crimes, camps, and deportations as well as resistance against the German occupation.

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) is an inter-governmental network for remembrance, research, and education about the Holocaust. The English-language directory “Overview of Holocaust-related Organisations” lists more than 900 relevant organisations in 44 countries. Each entry includes the organisational strategy, offers, and contact information.

The website offers an overview and detailed information about memorial museums for murdered Jews and Roma in Ukraine. The project aims to promote the sustainable protection of the mass graves and the establishment of dignified memorial sites in connection with active historical and educational work.
