I have been working with Thomas Lutz for more than 10 years within the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance or through direct bilateral relations between our respective institutions in Paris and Berlin.
Thomas is not only an excellent expert recognized in Europe, he is also a man with values never avoiding to confront difficult questions. I had the privilege to work together with him on many sensitive issues related to Holocaust distortion in Europe. Many people don’t want to get into these kinds of problems. Thomas has always responded with strong commitments and involvements, because he knows that the legacy of the Holocaust is to act!
With his retirement, we lose a major figure, but I know he will keep an active role even after. Congratulations Thomas, you can look back with pride and satisfaction!
